Miami Residents Host Event to Fight Poverty in Colombia

 A group of Children International supporters in the Miami area is hosting an event to celebrate Children International’s work in Latin America and to raise funds to renovate two community center buildings in Colombia.

These centers provide life-changing benefits to kids to fight poverty in Columbia. The event will feature food and drinks, live entertainment, a silent auction and a brief presentation about the new centers.

Children International, along with Paula and Jeffrey Gonzalez, long-time residents of Key Biscayne and supporters of the organization, are hosting this event. Susana Eshleman, president and CEO of Children International, will be speaking at the event.

February 23, 2018 6 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (The main celebration will begin at 7 p.m.)

There will be ample free parking available.

Note – The event will be mostly in Spanish, although many of the presenters and attendees are bilingual.
